Job Summary & Responsibilities

Working as part of the Product Development team focusing on the EMEA market, the candidate will be involved in all aspects of the strategy, research, analysis and development of new asset management products for cross-border distribution and product advisory and management of the existing range of funds.

Responsibilities:
•Seek feedback from distribution teams and other areas on new product proposals, making recommendations on whether or not they should be implemented.
•Assess profitability of new product proposals and existing products.
•Prepare and present product proposals to the New Products Committee for approval.
•Technical project management of new product launches, changes to existing funds as well as analysis and implementation of other product initiatives (working with other teams including Investment Teams, Sales and Distribution, Legal, Tax, Compliance, Fund Services, Finance, Operations).
•Keep abreast of major developments in the industry (i.e. regulations, tax, competition, etc.) that create new opportunities or challenges to our business.
•Assess the competitive position of the product range, proposing and implementing changes to existing products to improve their positioning.

Preferred Qualifications

•Educated to degree level or equivalent. CFA would be positive
•Minimum of 5 years investment industry experience, preferably in a product development role
•Knowledgeable of the European funds regulatory environment and structuring of collective investment vehicles
•Strong communications and interpersonal skills
•Strong analytical and project management skills; ability to work under pressure and to meet demanding deadlines
•Creative, innovative, and pro-active
