Job Summary & Responsibilities

This professional is responsible for responding to requests from the firm’s consultants, and sales/marketing professionals for desktop support in a timely manner while ensuring that documents maintain a visually attractive appearance. Requests for desktop publishing support include RFPs, bluebook presentations, consultant requests, surveys and other ad hoc requests.  Responsibilities also include maintenance of the templates used by the Institutional and Third Party Marketing department as well as formatting documents to Goldman Sachs Asset Management branding standards. The successful candidate must be able to accommodate a flexible work schedule to meet project demands and possess a high degree of service orientation with an ability and willingness to work effectively in a team environment. Attention to detail and awareness of quality control are of the utmost importance.  

Duties and Responsibilities:
•Creates/formats/edits RFPs, Onscreen/Print Presentations, quarterly marketing documents, forms and ad-hoc data information requests from sales/marketing professionals
•Reformat layout templates in Word and PowerPoint to comply with Goldman Sachs Asset Management style guides; format copy, tables and charts for presentations (Word, PowerPoint and Excel); and help create new templates within guidelines, where required
•Ensures that Goldman Sachs standards are maintained on all materials
•Monitors Microsoft Outlook for incoming job requests from professionals in Goldman Sachs Asset Management group
•Fields questions from product teams and sales/marketing professionals
•Assists with the implementation of new standards when necessary
•Innovates improvements in departmental procedures to increase efficiency and quality
•Performs other functions or projects and assumes additional responsibilities as requested.

Basic Qualifications

•Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office 2007; Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat (generating and manipulating PDFs)
•Good working knowledge of Adobe programs; Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver, HTML, Flash and Acrobat.
•Strong initiative and ability to start on tasks with minimal direct guidance
•Strong visual skills, logical, with a excellent attention to detail and accuracy
•Good proofreading and quality control skills focusing on accuracy of typing, layout, and format consistency
•Ability to balance multiple projects, handle changing priorities quickly and work well under timeframe pressure
•Ability to work both independently and within a team
•Professional demeanor with a sense of humor and maturity
•Interest in the Asset Management business, and sales/marketing process
