Job Summary & Responsibilities

The European Fund Services team is responsible for the oversight of GSAM’s Irish, Cayman and Luxembourg domiciled collective investment products.  The team interacts very closely with the external Fund Administration service providers, the Funds Board of Directors (internal and external) as well as with all internal teams connected with setup, running and oversight of the funds. The role will be varied and will allow the candidate to interact with a wide range of internal and external teams and be involved in a diverse range of tasks.

Main Responsibilities

Corporate Governance Administration:
•Organization of Board Meetings (onsite & offsite)
•Production/ Review of Board Packs & all other relevant materials
•Co-ordinate Global Action Items
•Co-ordination and administration of Director’s Fees & Expenses

Fund Events/Change Management Support:
•Co-ordinate launch of new  funds & share classes
•Co-ordinate mergers, closures & other ad hoc projects.
•Monitoring of firm seed capital

Vendor Management Programme:
•GSAM EMEA Vendor Management Co-Ordinator
•Co-ordinate onboarding of Vendor
•Co-ordinate  on-going Vendor Oversight with all Vendor Relationship Owners
•Educate Division on Vendor Management Program
•Manage Information Security Reviews
•Assist team with their vendor management.

Basic Qualifications

•Degree or relevant industry experience.  Knowledge of offshore mutual fund products and regulatory environments would be ideal but not a requirement.
•Previous vendor oversight experience an advantage
•Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to deal with people at all levels both internally and externally
•Able to work to tight deadlines and with activities and targets which may change at short notice
•Excellent organizational skills and ability to set own priorities
•A high level of accuracy and the ability to maintain this standard while under pressure from deadlines is required
•Highly motivated individual and self-starter with a proven background of delivery
