Job Summary & Responsibilities
Duties: Design, implement and maintain computer programs to perform the aggregation of credit risk exposure. This information is needed for risk management, capital allocation, and regulatory reporting. Develop and maintain multi tier applications on a globally distributed platform using Java, UNIX, Sybase and Autosys. Responsible for several large components of complex projects, specifically focused on coding and testing. Interact with users for requirement analysis, UAT of new features, and level two support queries as needed. Member of a support rotation for regression testing and deployment. Must be willing to learn and utilize proprietary risk management technology after hire. No knowledge of proprietary technology is required pre-hire.Work Schedule: 40 hours per week (9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.)
Job Requirements: Master’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field or Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field. Three (3) years of experience (for Master’s candidates) in the job offered or a related Analyst / Developer position or five (5) years of experience (for Bachelor’s candidates) in the job offered or a related Analyst / Developer position. Experience must be gained after Bachelor’s degree. Must have three (3) years: experience programming in an object oriented programming language, such as C++, Java or Smalltalk. Must have two (2) years: experience utilizing Sybase and UDB database platforms and SQL programming language; and experience with the full project life-cycle, including requirement initiation, definition, documentation, development, testing, go-live, post-go-live and production support. Must have one (1) year: experience interacting with users and converting business requirements into technical solutions; and experience designing and supporting batch environments for distributing data to other systems.
