The Alternative Investments & Manager Selection (AIMS) Group provides investors with investment and advisory solutions, across leading hedge fund managers, private equity funds, real estate managers, and traditional long-only managers. The AIMS Group manages globally diversified programs, targeted sector-specific strategies, customized portfolios, and a range of advisory services.
Principal Responsibilities:
• Calculate, review, and analyze performance returns for hedge fund products within AIMS
• Provide performance data to other teams within AIMS and GSAM for client reports and marketing materials
• Maintain controlled procedures around the performance process
• Compile analysis and custom reporting for prospective and existing clients
• Maintain performance databases for internal and external funds
• Compare fund returns to benchmarks and account targets
• Assist with regulatory reporting requirements
Basic Qualifications
•Bachelors degree•2-5+ years of applicable experience
Preferred Qualifications
• Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills• Knowledge and understanding of Excel and Access
• Strong work ethic with a keen attention to detail
• Ability to work in a team environment under pressure
• Experience in performance measurement as well as with P&L, product valuation, and accounting concepts
