Job Summary & Responsibilities
Duties: Act as analyst developer on a global technology team that supports the Firm’s Business Selection and Conflicts Resolution Group unit. Translate business and technical requirements into well-engineered, tested, and deployed business application systems. Analyze, design, develop, test, install, and maintain information systems. Interface with users and other developers to determine the most efficient and cost-effective approach to meet business requirements. Utilize a variety of hardware and software technologies and engage in new code construction, modifications to existing modules, and/or package implementation to devise solutions.Work Schedule: 40 hours per week (9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.)
Job Requirements: Masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related technical degree or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related technical degree. Three (3) years of experience (for Master’s candidates) in the job offered or in a related software application development and analysis role or five (5) years of experience (for Bachelor’s candidates) in the job offered or in a related software application development and analysis role. Must have at least three (3) years of experience in: developing Software using JAVA technology (or other object oriented languages) and SQL; building software solutions for the Financial Industry; using a structured software development lifecycle from beginning to end, including documenting processes, requirements and test cases in a structured way; conducting requirements gathering and training sessions with business users; understanding technology limitations and implications and liaising with technologists to develop software solutions; developing detailed project plans, identifying milestones and tracking progress; and operating independently to design, develop, and implement software.
