Job Summary & Responsibilities

Duties: Develop technical designs, develop software, manage software development lifecycle, provide work estimates, and raise critical project issues such as technical/project risks.  Responsibilities include locating allocation model parameter configuration for sales and supply desks;  Inventory Management Intercompany Optimization recommendations; securities lending trade execution flows; real time borrow/loan recommendations blotter; and real time positions cache.  Act a senior technical lead and developer in Securities Lending Trading Technology responsible for developing a number of systems.  Utilize/demonstrate proficiency in the following: Java, C#, the Firm’s proprietary risk modeling language (SecDB), the firm’s proprietary caching solution (CMT), the Firm’s proprietary messaging solution (DF), EMS, Spring, Functional Testing framework Fitnesse, UDB, Sybase.

Work Schedule: 40 hours per week (9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.)

Job Requirements: Master’s (US or foreign equivalent) degree in Computer Science or Bachelor’s (US or foreign equivalent) degree in Computer Science.  Three (3) years of experience (if possess Master’s degree) in the job offered or in a related programmer analyst role or analyst/developer role or five (5) years of experience (if possess Bachelor’s degree) in the job offered or in a related programmer analyst role or analyst/developer role.  Three (3) years of experience with: Core Java; Enterprise Java Technologies: EJB, JMS, JTA ; Java Frameworks : Spring, Hibernate; relational Databases : Sybase, UDB; and test driven development.  Two (2) years of experience with: Clustered J2EE Container Deployments: Weblogic; exposure to fundamentals of financial markets specifically in the area of Securities Lending; integrating systems developed using different hardware and software technologies; service based architecture; and requirements gathering and analysis.  Any suitable combination of education, training and / or experience is acceptable.
