Institutional Client Services (ICS) was formed in July 2009 to help the Goldman Sachs Private Wealth Advisor (PWA) community solicit and manage assets for private foundations, public foundations and endowments, corporate pension funds / ERISA plans, corporate assets and Indian Tribal Government assets. This fast-growing initiative sources and packages the full resources of private wealth management, Goldman Sachs Asset Management and the Goldman Sachs network to meet these clients’ specific needs. The service is highly customized and delivered by experienced advisory teams that serve on average only 25 clients.
The Private Wealth Management (PWM) marketing team is recruiting a dedicated RFP Specialist to focus on the institutional client opportunity within PWM. Part of the PWM marketing team and with a dotted reporting line into the ICS management team, the RFP Specialist will work closely with the ICS group, PWA teams, investment specialists and experts across the system to deliver marketing tools to support prospecting and client management efforts.
Duties and Responsibilities
The RFP Specialist will be responsible for a broad array of initiatives, including:
Serve as central liaison for between marketing, ICS and individual teams
Manage, update and unify RFP language for PWM, serve as quality control
Expand RFP materials to customize for foundations, endowments, ERISA, family offices, small/medium corporate opportunities
Work with PWA teams to write, edit and complete RFPs in a timely and consistent fashion
Track and manage metrics/success ratios
Develop pitch book and marketing materials specific to ICS
Serve as a resource for ICS queries; troubleshoot and/or redirect to appropriate parties
Basic Qualifications
- Strong communication skills, especially business writing- Ability to work with PWA teams and management, versatile and flexible in style, ability to make judgment calls and prioritize
- Strong project management background
- Teamwork-oriented
- Associate role
- Sales / marketing / business development background useful
- BA required (advanced degree or certificate a plus)
