A research project on “Flood Damage Mitigation measures for Mahanadi”, sanctioned
by Government of Chhattisgarh. For this research project following positions are required for
the project period only.

Eligible candidates interested to serve in a temporary and time bound position under this
project, are invited to attend Walk-in-interview on 28th January, 2013 at the office of Dr. M. K.
Verma, Professor & Head, Department of Civil Engineering, NIT Raipur.
Relaxation in Age Limit: Relaxation in age is applicable to candidates belonging to
OBC/SC/ST/PH/Women candidates (as per Government Norms).
Qualifications & Experience:
(a) For the post of Project Assistant Level-3
Qualification: Essential: First Class B. E. / B. Tech. in Civil Engineering. Desirably
with higher qualification.
Note: Preference will be given to the candidates having standard publications.
(b) For the post of Project Assistant Level-2
Essential Qualification: B. E. / B. Tech. in Civil Engineering/ Water Resources
Engineering.
(c) For the post of Office Assistant
Essential Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Science/Arts/Commerce/Computer
Science/Computer application. (Candidates with higher qualifications will be given
preference.)
Desirable Experience: At least one year working experience of MS Office. Familiarity
with computer operations and maintenance.
