Job Summary & Responsibilities

The primary role of the candidate is to design, develop, and support the Client Clearing Services Platform (CCSP), focusing on the GUI portion of the system. The candidate is expected to participate in the entire software development life cycle from definition of requirements through deployment and support. The successful candidate will work closely with IT peers and business professionals to define behavior, services, and interfaces for the tools under development. The candidate is expected to work closely with colleagues and users in other regions. The candidate is expected to drive projects and lead technical discussions with the global team members.

DEVELOPMENT PROSPECTS

• Develop a deep understanding of operational flows within Global Securities Services (Futures/Clearing, Stockloan and Prime Brokerage)
• Develop a deep understanding of an state of the art workflow management software
• Develop high quality software platform for firm’s internal users

Basic Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of software development experience on Java or C#
• Deep understanding of OO principals and design patterns (MVP, MVVM, command pattern )
• Advanced knowledge of .Net framework 3.5 or 4.0 (CLR, GC, threading)
• Advanced experience in .Net GUI development using Winforms, knowledge of WPF is a plus
• Familiar with testing frameworks (NUnit, MsUnit)
• Experience with Java multitier service implementation
• Experience in UDB
• Knowledge of LINUX and UNIX systems
• Good Communication skills
• Strong problem solving and analysis skill
• Experience providing high quality production support to a demanding user base
• Experience with requirement gathering from interactions with end-users
• Experience with full project life cycle

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of the financial markets and its instruments including Prime Brokerage business
