DIVISIONAL OVERVIEW
Goldman Sachs Asset Management (GSAM) Distribution is responsible for selling GSAM products and services both directly to institutions and, through third party channels to markets around the world.   GSAM applies insights and risk management expertise to help institutional and individual investors with their financial goals. We focus on building and maintaining long-term client relationships and managing client assets using our core strengths of insight, ability and responsibility.

Our diverse client base includes corporate and public pension funds, foundations and endowments, insurers, financial institutions and governments. With the goal of increasing assets and revenues of the Firm, Sales teams are responsible for selling a broad spectrum of institutional products, including hedge funds, private equity, fixed income and equities. In addition, they collaborate with clients through conferences and client presentations on institutional topics, including asset allocation, risk budgeting and asset/liability management. They work closely with our Business Development and Strategic Marketing teams to ensure that our presentation materials, request for proposals, thought leadership and critical communications enhance the client experience.  

We are looking for a highly motivated team player for a Executive Assistant role within US Institutional Distribution.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provides administrative support in a complex team environment to multiple senior sales leaders.  
• Coordinates complex, senior-level internal/ external meetings and conference calls.  
• Handles a high volume of phones calls and interacts with business leaders in a professional and effective manner.
• Supports internal and external managers or clients.  
• Organizes and ships literature to clients.  
• Responds and follows up on client requests.  
• Maintains complex and detailed calendars and prioritizes meeting requests and related logistics.
• Coordinates domestic travel arrangements and processes expense reports.  
• Prepares and distributes team correspondence, memos, letters, reports or other documents as requested.  
• Maintains understanding of firm policies and handles certain issues independently.
• Manages monthly invoices and arranges for payment.
• On-boards new hires, processes new employees, transfers, termination, etc.
• Responsible for participation in general administrative duties (copying, filing, faxing, archiving), ad-hoc projects, committees and or group events.  
• Orders supplies and keeps inventory well-stocked.
